Professor Chen Jiehong from China University of Geosciences (Wuhan) Visited IGG TEXT SIZE:A A A

Invited by State Key Laboratory of Geodesy and Earth’s Dynamics (SKLGED), professor Chen Jiehong from China University of Geosciences (Wuhan) visited Institute of Geodesy and Geophysics(IGG) and gave an academic report on title “Discussion on the Anomaly Deformation of Crust before Earthquake and Seismogenic Range” on June 26. Professor Chen Jiehong has been chosen in Project of Thousand Youth Talents. He is mainly engaged in the physical mechanism of multiple physical parameters coupling in multi-field and the numerical simulation of geophysical signals. In his report, professor Chen introduced how to use various geophysical and geodetic observation data, such as GPS, inSAR, groundwater data to research the anomaly deformation of crust before earthquake and seismogenic range and obtain the innovative results. At last, he also discussed how to use multiple observation methods to solve a single problem.
