On January 11th, the National Meeting for Science and Technology Awards was held at Great Hall of the People in Beijing. WHIGG was rewarded the National 2nd-class Award for Scientific and Technological Advancement, named by "Research on theories and methods of ionospheric monitoring and delay correction based on GPS and its applications".
Professor Ou Jikun has been in charge of the research. After several years' research, they developed some new methods of ionospheric monitoring and delay correction based on GPS. They contributed very important support for national GNSS. The graduate students in this team are very brilliant and win a lot of honors.
