Prof. Paul Paquet, former director of the Royal Astronomical Observatory of Belgium, paid a visit to the Institute of Geodesy and Geophysics(IGG) at the invitation of Prof. Heping Sun , the director of IGG from Jul. 8, 2010 to Jul. 11, 2010.

Prof. Paul Paquet visited National Dynamic Geodetic Observatory and Key Laboratory Dynamic Geodesy and exchanged his academic ideas with IGG’s scientists and researchers. Academician Xu Houze, Prof. Sun Heping and Prof. Wang Yong attended the academic exchange meeting. Both parties agreed that it was of great importance to strengthen research capacity by sharing scientific equipments and facilities and aimed to continue and solidify the partnership by supporting scholar exchange.
