At the invitation of the Geodetic and Geophysical Technique Laboratory, Prof. Ho Jung Paik of Maryland University visited WHIGG on March 26th, 2012.
Prof. Paik delivered a scientific speech titled “Superconducting Gravity Gradiometers: Principle, Design and Applications”.
Prof. Paik gave a detailed introduction about the latest international progress of developing the superconducting gravity gradiometer and its core instrument Superconducting Quantum Interference Device (SQUID).
The seminar was presided by vice director LIU Lintao. Vice President WANG Yong and director ZHONG Min as well as postgraduates attended the seminar.
