Prof. Wang Jinling and Dr. Huang Jidong visit IGG
At the invitation of the State Key Laboratory of Geodesy and Earth’s Dynamics, Prof. Wang Jinling from University of New South Wales, Australia and Dr. Jidong Huang from California State University, Fullerton visited WHIGG on June 28, 2012. Prof. Jinling Wang and Dr. Jidong Huang both delivered a scientific speech titled" Design of Precision Navigation Systems and its Applications" and" Quality control for Multi-GNSS and Multi-Sensor Integration" respectively.
Dr. Huang Jidong introduced the basic theories and methods of precise navigation and positioning and highlighted its application in precise agriculture, the automation of the mower and vegetation discrimination. Prof. Jinling Wang focused on the basic theories and methods of gross error detection in multi-GNSS system and multi-sensor data combination navigation and positioning. He also described the method of navigation using a camera and three-dimensional map. They discussed with IGG researchers on current research problems and future research hot topics
