Prof. Hao Xiaoguang and Hu Xiaogang published a new book recently, titled by “Study of the short-term anomalous tremors before large earthquakes” (Surveying Press).

 

Earthquake prediction is a global problem. With the efforts of IGG researchers, some advances and substantial progress were achieved: time-frequency analysis about anomalous tremors before the earthquake. The effort of producing the book is sponsored by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and State Key Laboratory of Geodesy and Earth’s Dynamics of IGG. Congratulations to Dr. Hao and Dr. Hu!
