Chinese BeiDou Navigation Satellite System Administration Office hold the International GNSS monitor and analysis center construction review meeting in Beijing on December 23. About 100 represents from 30 research institutes attended the meeting, Institute of Geodesy and Geophysics (IGG) was invited as responsible department. The review experts including academician Sun Jiadong, Shen Rongjun, Li Jisheng, Wei Ziqing, Yang Yuanxi, Houtze Hsu, Wan Weixing, Li Tianchu, Liu Jingnan, Fan Benrao and other experts.

After the review, they officially gave authorization to the responsible departments. As one of them, IGG is in charge of tracking station operation and analysis center construction, the research team from IGG using their innovative methods including DADS, GTSF, SHPTS, IGGDCB, IGGtrop into the analysis center and independently development a comprehensive software platform which can process BDS/GPS/GLONASS/GALILEO data. Since April 2014, IGG has been provided precise orbits, clock, ionosphere model, DCB, troposphere model, EOP, station coordinates, integrity products. Among them, BDS orbits has higher precision. The vice director of IGG Sidao Ni signed the operation agreement. Researcher Yuan Yunbin and researcher Peng Bibo respectively received the International GNSS monitor and assessment analysis center board and the International GNSS tracking station board which means IGG has stepped into the frontier of GNSS related research, this is an acknowledgement of IGG`s efforts in the fields of GNSS.
