Academic conference, Workshop on Progress and Application of Modern Geodesy and the Global Climate Change 2015, was held on December 22 in Institute of Geodesy and Geophysics (IGG). Two research groups of IGG, Physical and Dynamic Problems in the Earth’s Interior, jointly with Satellite Geodesy and Global Climate Change convened this workshop. Academician Xu Houze, researcher Ni Sidao, researcher Liu Suxia from Institute of Geographic Sciences and Natural Resources Research (IGSNRR), associate professor Yuan Linguo from Southwest Jiaotong University and associate professor Pan Yun from Capital Normal University attended the conference. The conference was hosted by researcher Wang Yong. All the participants conducted a systematic and in-depth discussion about research development on space geodesy, earthquake geodesy and earth interior physics.
