International GNSS Service(IGS) organization is one of the most authoritative organizations in the international GNSS precision application service. IGS hold academic seminars in Sydney, Australia on February 8 to 12. Researcher Yuan Yunbin et al. from Institute of Geodesy and Geophysics(IGG) , Chinese Academy of Science (CAS) attended the seminars.
During the seminar for ionospheric study, ionospheric workgroup of IGS assessed 7 global ionospheric grid products provided by 7 research institutions in the world. The assessment results show that the ionosphere product precision jointly provided by IGG and Academy of Opto-Electronics (AOE), Chinese Academy of Science (CAS) ranked first(paralleling), which showed that our country has entered the international first-class level in this field.
During the seminar for Multi-GNSS Experiment(MGEX) and Differential Code Bias(DCB) study, Dr Wang Ningbo from IGG introduced the strategy and latest development of Multi-GNSS DCB products jointly developed by IGG and AOE. And this is the first academic report in this seminar.
During the seminar for Asia-Pacific Reference Frame(APREF), international organization of APREF showed the coordinates and velocity field of tracking station in the Asian-Pacific region computed by using GNSS analysis centers in the world. GNSS analysis center in IGG is one of analysis centers in the world, and it is also the first APREF analysis center in domestic.
