Invited by State Key Laboratory of Geodesy and Earth`s Dynamics (SKLGED), professor Huang Jinwei from National Chiao Tung University (NCTU) visited Institute of Geodesy and Geophysics (IGG) and gave an academic report “High-resolution depth and gravity fields over major atolls of the South China Sea from satellite altimetry and satellite imagery” on June 17.

The report introduced research progress of the inversion of gravity anomaly in Nanhai Sea and the inversion of the fine edge line of atolls with altimetry satellite and image data.After the report, professor Huang Jinwei also had a deep discussion with the audience at the end of the report, which contributed in a big way to our academic exchange and cooperation.
