Director Wang Qian of The National Remote Sensing Center of China, deputy director Peng Quan of Science and Technology Department of Hubei Province, researcher Zhou Jianhua from 61081 regiment of Chinese People's Liberation Army and related department personnels of Chinese Academy of Sciences investigated Institute of Geodesy and Geophysics(IGG) on November 17. IGG’s Deputy director Wang Yong, Xiong Xiong, party secretary Feng Can, academician Xu Houze attended this investigation.

Director Wang Qian and his party firstly visited the State Key Laboratory of Geodesy and Earth`s Dynamics(SKLGED), GNSS Analysis Center, Instrument Development Center and Key Laboratory for Environment and Disaster Monitoring and Evaluation of Hubei Province. Then director Wang Qian listened to Wang Yong’s report about IGG and researcher Yuan Yunbin’s report about National Key Research and Development Program “Precision Cooperative Location Technique”.

Director Wang Qian fully affirmed the achievement of IGG’ scientific research and gave some significant suggestions and requests about the implementation of National Key Research and Development Program.
