Invited by State Key Laboratory of Geodesy and Earth’s Dynamics (SKLGED), researcher Dang Yamin from Chinese Academy of Surveying and Mapping(CASM) visited Institute of Geodesy and Geophysics (IGG) and gave an academic report “Geographic National Condition Monitoring-Technologies in Monitoring the Stability of Geological Environment and its Applications” on November 30.

Researcher Dang Yamin started from the basic definition of Geodesy and detailedly introduced the latest research progresses of Global Geodetic Observation System(GGOS) and its applications in monitoring earth's dynamic system. Then he emphatically introduced a few typical applications of geodesy technologies in  monitoring geographic national condition.

Researcher Dang Yamin, a well-known Geodesist who has published 300 papers in journals and conferences, mainly focused on GNSS precise positioning, geodesy reference, geodetic inversion and earth’s dynamic.
