At the invitation of NI Shidao, director of the key laboratory of dynamic and geodesy (KLDG), PH.D WEI Jisheng, form California Institute of Technology, visited WHIGG on October 21, 2011.

WEI delivered a scientific speeche titled” The tsunamis induced by the strong earth’s surface shake of Mw9.0 Tohoku-Oki earthquake in 2011”. The seminar was presided by SUN Heping. Related scientific researchers attended the seminar.

 

During his visit, there were also some hot discusses among the scientific researchers postgraduates of the WHIGG and WEI.
