Researcher Xinglin Lei from National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology visited IGG TEXT SIZE:A A A

Invited by State Key Laboratory of Geodesy and Earth`s Dynamics (SKLGD), researcher Xinglin Lei from National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST) visited Institute of Geodesy and Geophysics (IGG) and gave an academic report“Some understandings on the research of earthquake triggering under the influence of different-scalefluid”on October 26.The meeting was held by researcher Risheng Chu.

Mechanism of earthquake triggered by underground fluid was explained in the report from three aspects: micro-scale(rock-breaking test), small-scale(shale gas field), regional-scale.

Researcher Xinglin Lei is a well-known expert in rock mechanics, acoustic emission and statistical analysis of seismic data. His research results on theoretical model, numerical calculation, prediction method were widely used in international counterparts.
