International cooperation research results titled “Geomorphic and geologic controls of geohazards induced by Nepal’s 2015 Gorkha earthquake” was published in Science on December 16, and researcher Jiang Liming from Institute of Geodesy and Geophysics (IGG) was one important participant in the project. The international cooperation study was chaired by professor Jeffery Kargel at the University of Arizona, and it was completed by 64 scholars from 12 countries. Researcher Jiang Liming's main contributions in this project were analyzing crustal deformation of Gorkha earthquake based on InSAR and studying secondary hazards of Gorkha earthquake based on remote-sensing image.
