Invited by State Key Laboratory of Geodesy and Earth`s Dynamics (SKLGED), Dr Chen Kejie from Geo Forschungs Zentrum(GFZ) visited Institute of Geodesy and Geophysics (IGG) and gave an academic report “Real-time GNSS for tsunami early warning” on April 14.
During the report, Dr Chen introduced the earthquake and tsunami warning applications of single-frequency GNSS and multi-mode GNSS. His report involved GNSS data real-time processing, coseismic displacement extracting and tsunami simulation.
Dr Chen studied precise GNSS data processing from 2010 to 2012 at Wuhan University. From 2012 to 2016, he continued his study as a PhD student GFZ. Currently, he was enrolled in a postdoctoral scholar program at California Institute of Technology.
