Title: Design of Precision Navigation Systems and its Applications
Speaker: HUANG Jidong
Brief introduction to the speaker:
Navigation is the art and science of getting from one point to another, with or without the aid of electronic navigation systems. For modern transportation, electronic navigation systems, for instance, those based on the use of GPS, have played important roles, ensuring the safety and timeliness of transporting people from one location to another. This talk will discuss different types of navigation systems, with a focus on how a precision navigation system can be designed based on the integration of multiple positioning and/or other sensing techniques. The application of the precision navigation systems in robotic ground vehicle design and location-based service systems will also be discussed in this talk.
